I could hear how the door slightly opened a bit. But I was too tired to care and what time was it? Then I remembered that today was Ayaka’s first day at work. My eyes fluttered right open and I knew it was she.
She walked quietly towards the bed and I smiled for myself. I closed my eyes, pretending to be sleeping. I was peeking a little bit and saw how she was standing at the bedside, she probably had problem of seeing throughout the darkness. I took hold of her wrists and she almost screamed, I pushed her down on the bed so she lay next to me.
I then opened the lamp, once the light hit my eyes it stung a bit but it didn’t hurt me any badly. When I looked at Ayaka, she automatically sat up and regarded me.
“YOU!” she exclaimed.
“That’s not how you speak to a prince,” I moaned.
Her eyes widened and her mouth opened, “B-but! You…Kou?” she said, confused.
I sat up beside her, “Sorry I lied. I felt like playing with you for a bit”
“WHAT PLAYING?!”
I pushed her down and closed the lights. “Damn woman, learn how to be quiet”
Someone knocked lightly at the door but I gave no answer. The person went inside and I cursed that the door was already open. I pushed Ayaka close to me, so I could feel her head towards my neck. Then I quickly slid the blanket on top of her.
“Is something wrong Master?” one of the maids said.
“Who told you to get inside here?” I said, cockily, as if she disturbed my sleep.
The maid bowed, “I’m sorry Master. I thought I heard someone…”
“Better check your hearing until next time, now go!” I hissed.
The maid apologized and left the room, closing the door. Ayaka quickly sat up again.
“I feel rude…not being mad at the real person who annoyed my sleep”
Ayaka looked at me, “Why…would you lie?” she said.
I sat up, “Do I have to tell you everything?” I said.
She was about to protest until I put my finger on top of her lips, “Remember what I told you before, you’ll hate being here…you’ll hate everything about being here, because I’ll make you suffer pretty badly” I said.
I then felt very sleepy as I realized I hadn’t slept that long. I lay down again feeling as if my bones didn’t have the strength to carry me any longer, “Anyhow…your first order is…coming…here…seven o’clock” I managed to say. And I probably fell asleep then.
I heard curtains opening very violently, the bedspread moved away from my body, and I felt this sudden coldness. I opened my eyes and found a grizzly bear beside my bed that looked to eat me up anytime.
“Get up! You said seven o’clock!” the grizzly bear hissed.
“Put on the hot tub with hot water…” I mumbled, still sleepy.
“Humph!” she said and walked towards the toilet.
I could hear the water tap on and I managed to get up. I walked towards the toilet and felt the cold floor touch against my bare feet, wanting myself to jump into the warm water. I saw how Ayaka was bending down and fiddling with the temperatures. Then I was considering how she looked in the uniform, it suited her pretty well if compared to others. I was walking towards her half-awake and without thinking, I took off my shirt and threw it on the floor, and then I was going for my pants until I saw Ayaka with her jaws open.
“I’m tired…open my pants for me” I said, trying to sound very weak.
Ayaka’s eyes widened, “WHAT! I can’t do that!” she exclaimed.
She was then rushing to walk past me, but I caught her wrists in time, “At least wash me,” I said, “And that’s an order…from the prince” I said, blinking towards her.
