First period went by well and somehow I was eager to see Juuri, Juliette and Xi because of their reactions. It was amusing to finally let out my revenge. I grabbed my bag full of books and went out of the classroom to the next lesson. Our dorms were quite far away from the school-building because the builders had to fit in the arena and swimming hall. The arena was for the students to get their strength and stamina up. The archers and defenders are usually there too. But the mages such as controlling water, blizzard, fire and thunder were at the swimming hall. I haven’t really been to the swimming hall because I don’t specialize anything in it but I wonder how it works all together. They might have a magical barrier so nobody damages each other or so water doesn’t touch fire.
I was walking towards the arena; it wasn’t that far away, it was only downhill. Both Vincent and Kevin went to their special class. They couldn’t learn anything from going to our regular classes so therefore the founder of this school created a special class for the purpose of learning and expanding their powers. Well not only Vincent and Kevin of course, others that specialize in that kind of magic.
I found the arena not far away and soon felt how different the ground was now. Half of the arena was full of sand and the other half was grass.
It was the regular routine, warming up by running ten laps for now, join the defenders and learn the last of the basics and then fighting against others, teaming up to learn how to fight two and two. It was pretty easy today but I knew that the last day of this week would be teaming up with the magicians and learn how to fight with them.
After two hours it was lunch time. I went towards the shower first and it took less than ten minutes to shower and then I hurried up to the cafeteria. I found Vincent and Kevin sitting on a table not far away from the window. I hurried to stand on the line and to my amusement three familiar girls were standing in front of me. My eyes met with Juliette’s and she looked at me levelly. I smiled and looked down to take my tray. Today’s food was pretty good it was hamburger with French fries.
“Even after showering you still smell like shit” Juuri mumbled, loud enough for one person to hear.
I chuckled, “I feel relieved the smell makes you vomit” I replied.
Juuri looked at me with eyes very sharp, “Very funny” she said, pretending she was laughing.
I noticed they didn’t have any makeup on- well of course we threw them away- and their hair was natural without any spray.
“What’s your next diabolical plan?” I asked Juuri, directing it more to Juliette since she’s the smart one.
Juuri looked pretty amused, “It wouldn’t be a diabolical plan if I told you wouldn’t it?” she said, looking at me with one final glance and she left with her food.
My eye soon followed Juliette’s whom was waiting for Xi to be done picking her food. She was behind me; somehow I wanted to impress Juliette for a weird reason. I made place for Xi so she could walk in front of me. She narrowed her eyes for a while and then took her food and left. But I noticed some kind of magic slamming on to her and she stagger forward. Probably Vincent’s doing. Xi was about to drop her tray but my reflex kicked in and I caught her tray. She was still for a moment and looked at me and then she smiled.
“Thank you” she said, at the same time taking her tray.
I glanced at Juliette and one of her eyebrow’s rose and she gave a faint vague smile and left with Xi. My eyes followed her until she sat down with Juuri and Xi. I took my food, went and sat down with Vincent and Kevin.
“Dude what’s with the rudeness?” I asked Vincent. He seemed to understand what I meant, while Kevin was looking at his reflection through his knife.
“I wanted to annoy Juuri by using Xi as the bait” he replied.
“Gaahhh!!” Vincent groaned, “They are so annoying! Damn it!” he said. He was eating his hamburger in a barbarian way. I glanced at Kevin and he was using knife and fork when eating the burger.
I looked towards the girls and found them talking. Juuri seemed to be in a better mood from before; Xi seemed to be in another world. Juliette…she seemed happy too. I noticed her red brown hair clinging to her neck. Her glasses made her look extra smart and it did suit her personality.
“But you got to admit, they are the prettiest girls in the entire school” I said, continuing eating my burger.
I looked up at Vincent and Kevin. Vincent looked away, “Yeah…well they’re still annoying!”
“Now when you say this…” Kevin paused, “Makes me think that…if I were a girl, I would be the most beautiful one in the entire world” he said, chuckling to himself.
I rolled my eyes at both of them; sure the girls pissed me off. But I wouldn’t mind talking with them again. Especially…
