I kept my eyes down. I didn’t want to look at the people around here. I started clenching my fists into the handle of my bag.
What should I do? I was struggling to think of a plan, Should I just walk out from here? Then the other’s will notice someone opening the door and then see me inside they’re room.
Damn that Jerre, he made me think without thinking, I thought wryly.
All of a sudden, I could hear Jerre starting to laugh. I looked up at him, wondering why he was laughing. It took some time for him to stop, but that wasn’t the problem. The problem was that he was seeking attention to himself, which made other guys notice me.
“A GIRL INSIDE!!” One of them was screaming.
I jumped at that sudden scream. Then I could sense more faces staring at me, the worst was the ones that showered. They were really mad and embarrassed.
Although, Jerre’s friends, or the group who were with him laughed to.
I bet they wouldn’t laugh if they were naked, I thought.
I could feel Jerre’s hand touch mine, he started walking with me out. He was leading me to the girls locker-room. We were standing on the outside of the door.
“This” He pointed towards the door, “This is the girls’ room” He said teasingly.
I was embarrassed, so I had to say something, “I-I was coming late and I didn’t really think of which room I was going in, t-that’s why” I said, stumbling at the words. I looked down, too embarrassed to meet his gaze. Then I could feel his hand under my chin, he lifted his hand up which lifted my head. And I could see his eyes clearly, he was smiling.
“This is the funniest thing I’ve ever been through” He said laughing at the same time.
I gave him an uncertain smile, “I bet so,” I said.
I opened the door and looked behind to see Jerre on his way to the boys’ room.
“Wait for me later on!” I said
“Not if you’re too slow” He replied, and stepped inside.
Once I was done, I went outside. I found Jerre and Yura both waiting for me.
They looked back and once they saw me, they stood up, started to walk out.
“Hey there! Wait, I have to put on my shoes,” I yelled.
I ran where I’d left my shoes and put them on quickly then I hurried to there side.
Yura was still nagging about the earlier incident, which made me uneasy.
“You’re never gonna let Airi forget about this huh?” Jerre said, laughing about that memory.
“I bet she’d never do that again!” Yura said, hardcore laughing.
“HEY! I’m right here you know!” I yelled.
Yura went towards me, and started looking down, really looking down.
“Wow, I didn’t notice you, you were so short” He said, teasing me again.
“I may be short but I’m at least faster than you guys!” I said, teasing them too.
Jerre frowned then, “That was just pure luck,” He said.
Yura went to his side then, “Reaaallyyyy?” He teased.
“Yeah reall-“ I broke him off, I jumped on his back and started tickling him, then came Yura and jumped on us, so that we all fell down”
Everyone was laughing and having fun, just like the normal days.
Gym was our last lesson so we were on our way until a familiar man stood in front of us.
Ah, I thought to myself.
That beautiful guy, his black short hair with golden streaks on the side, his cold, mysterious eyes. This was my Kaname.
Kaname went straight towards me. I could feel my muscles starting to tense.
I shouldn’t be reacting like this nor should I look at him like this, I thought.
It was wrong of me because he is my brother after all. But part of me still wants him, wishes for him not to be my brother.
I am a monster after all, I thought sadly.
Whenever I see him, my stomach would twitch and hurt. It was painful seeing him, yet I didn’t want him to walk away.
“Jerre” He looked at him, rather with cold eyes. Then he glanced at Yura, “Hey there, Yura” He said. Yura replied to him.
“I’d like to borrow my sister for a while” He said.
They both nodded, and I went to hug him. His scent, he smelled like who most beautiful rose. He was beautiful like a rose, but with us being monsters, he had thorns, we had thorns.
“How are you? You look all beaten up” He said.
“Everything’s finished, Kaname,” I said, my blood tablets were finished, I drank too many.
“Is it bothering you that much?” He looked hurt.
I noticed that we weren’t the only ones here. I looked back at Jerre and Yura and waved at them. I led Kaname somewhere else.
Kaname seemed to understand what I was trying to do.
“Will you be coming back soon?” Jerre screamed, aloud for us to hear.
“Yes! I’ll be there in a minute, you go ahead” I replied.
I could see them walking.
“I will try everything to get hold of more tablets for you” Kaname started.
“Thank You” I replied. Holding his hand took all my attention.
“You look happy with them,” He said. I glanced up at him and he seemed to be bothered with it. I touched his face, “Not without you” I lied.
He smiled then. I put my hand down at that instance. We were on our way to the U-huset.
“I’ll come visit to you at night time, when I get the blood tablets” He said, he rather knew we had short time up on us because it was a short way.
“Please come by any time,” I said.
“You know what I mean by coming in the night,” He said with a cold tone.
I stopped and stood in front of him, to be getting a better glance on him.
“I’m telling you, I’m fine as ever!” I said, raising my hands up in the air, showing him how good I felt. However, that didn’t pay off, he knew I was thirsty. I surrendered.
“Please come in the night to,” I said wryly.
He laughed at that, he touched my hair and said at the same time, “Airi…why do you always forget that I am the on who knows you the best?” He laughed again.
Then we parted, I went straight home. When I arrived, both Jerre and Yura looked at me with suspicion.
As if I would ever have a relationship with Kaname, I thought, laughing.
