Kap 27
Miharu:
I was really shocked to hear about the incident, and maybe, just slightly...a little jealous. Not that kind of jealous that I would like to sleep with him or what, but the kind of jealous when you don’t want that person to have the experience…of doing that. I wanted to be mad at him and throw him out, but since he said that he didn’t like her and did it out of money, I had to stay sane.
Gary lay down and closed his eyes. He looked to be in deep pain, but who would not if they had to sleep outside in this kind of weather.
I went towards him and put my palm gently on his forehead, he yanked his eyes opened and held them on me. He was really hot, he had a fever.
I sighed, “I’ll help you…just for today” I lied, I knew I would always help him.
I went to the kitchen and screamed towards him, “Don’t fall asleep! You need to eat and take your medicine”
I made warm porridge, which I find disgusting, but it surprisingly makes you feel better. It took a while to have it done, and I took it out to him. I took a chair and sat next to him. He looked so helpless and indicated that I would feed him. Normally, I would have slapped him but since he is sick, I had to do whatever he says.
After he ate, and took his medicine he fell asleep. I put some blankets and pillows to make it a lot more comfortable.
I watched TV all the hours Gary was sleeping but then I could hear a groan next to me. I looked at the side at the little sleeping beast. And laughed, “You stink!” I said.
He flickered his eyes and his eyebrows creased, “I hate this feeling”
“You’ll feel much better if you shower, young man,” I said.
“B-but it feels like if I move, I’ll puke”
“That’s why you have to move”
Gary frowned, “You want me to puke?”
I looked at him as if he were a idiot, “That’s when you feel much better afterwards you moron”
Gary opened his mouth but then closed it again. He held his hands in front of his mouth and I understood directly what was going to happen. Quickly, I took hold of a plastic bag, which you get from grocery malls. And held it in front of him. Gary took hold of it and started to puke. I stood behind him, covering his ears, it gives a much better effect. And for a few moments, he stopped vomiting and started to breathe heavily. The bath upstairs was already warm and waiting for someone to be inside, so when I threw that disgusting smelly –what the hell did he eat?- plastic bag in the bin. Gary was still on the bed but his neck resting backwards. I nudged him and he twitched, “Don’t scare me!” he said in an annoyed mood.
“You stink”
He looked at me as if he would murder me, “Oh yeah. Well then let’s go shower” he said, standing up, staying still for a moment, then taking hold of my wrist going upwards.
“US?” I yelled behind.
He went inside and saw the tub full of water, I couldn’t run from him anywhere…so instead he took me up in his arms and went inside with me in the water. I was so mad because of my school uniform getting wet and well sticky cloths are not the best.
“YOU IDIOT!” I screamed to him
Gary creased his eyebrows, “I’m sick”
“You should feel much better now!!” I still yelled.
The water was warm against my skin, and it did start to cool me down. I stretched my hands to Gary’s cloths and slowly took hold of his shirt, folding it up to his chest and then looked at him. He closed his eyes and held his arms up so I could take his shirt off fully.
“You need to shower,” I said.
“Help me then!”
I sighed, “Why are you SICK!!??”
