Bring the clouds in- del 1-andra delen

"Oh, he's so going to be my doctor when he is finished" Carol smiled a not so innocent smile, and continued to watch tv. Everyone knew Carol was a virgin, she had boyfriends, but everyone complained that she never gave. The furthest Carol has ever gone with a boy was making out topless (with a bra) on Billy Taylors bed. Their "gang" was called "one second virgins", meaning that they weren't going to be virgins for so long. Felicia in their group had already had sex, two weeks ago, but it had yet to reach the romour mill. There were two none-virgins in the group now, the second no one knew about. Guess who that was?

"I bet" she watched yet an other song start, this one was good, a guy playing a piano, looking up at the camera singing, his voice was clear and masculin, a fag her father would've called him. "I like this song"

"I knew you would" Carol sounded bored.

"What do you mean with that?"

"You like these... depressing songs. And if I didn't know better, I'd think you were depressed" Georgia grinned one of the smiles she practised that morning, took one pillow and trew it in her friends face. Carol smiled, unkowingly that she had said the truth. "But what is it with these songs?" Carol frowned, and looked as the guy continued to play "Look at him, he's ugly"

"It's the lyrics" Georgia answered with a shrugg.

"Well I don't listen to the lyrics, I listen to the music" Carol stood up as a more upbeat song started to play, and swayed her hips along with the beat. "Yeah!" Georgia laughed at her friend, and once again trew a pillow at her. "C'mon GG! Dance with me!" Carol held out her left hand so Georgia could take it.

"No, I'll get sweaty!" Carol's mouth fell open, mocking her.

"Oh my, can Ms.Grey get sweaty?" she shook her head but continued to dance "I know you dance, you think I haven't seen you in the studio?" Georgia was a dancer and took private dance classes in the towns dance studio, and she danced in an advanced dancing group, which meant she had to dance all kinds of diffrent genres. She liked swing the most though.

"Fine" and with those words she started to dance, she let go of that little stamp of being a perfect girl when she danced, because in dance you can never be comletly perfect because the way you dance is not like anyone else. Carol started to laugh and soon Georgia did too. When they had to leave for school they were both out of breathe, but it was a good way to start the day.

They walked to the school they both went to, Carol talked about the party that they were going to that friday, Carol hoped that Vicman on the football team would be there, a.k.a Victor Parman, a guy that would've been kicked off the team for his bad grades if it wasn't for the fact that he made the team win every year since he started on the team. Hypocrits. Victor was popular, a senior, had pumped muscles and was appearently good looking. Georgia thought he looked stupid, his eyes were too close, too blue, his hair was too blond. She often thought to herself that he probably had a small dick, but she would never voice that thought. No she was Ms Perfect.

"So I'm going to talk to him on friday" said Carol with a smile on her face, the determination was evident, and there was no point in arguing. She didn't want her friend to get hurt.

"That's great Carol!" Georgia said with her big smile, like she really stood behind her decision. She wished that her friends would take it a little slower then they were, because she would do anything to be that naïve little girl she once was, knowing only the basic about sex.

"So... isn't his favourite colour red?"

"How should I know if you don't?" Carol laughed.

"Because you know everything" Carol winked, and by then they'd reached the school, and walked into the three story building and went up the stairs to the second floor to find their lockers. The real reason to why they were friends was because when the two of them started this school the year before , and they knew no one, was that their lockers were right next to each other (they had the same locker throughout high school). So they both talked all the way to their lockers, mostly it was Carol because she had the biggest mouth (litterly, and not so litterly).

She wondered breifly if it was possible for her to be quiet, and if she talked in her sleep too.

"Car! GG!" came the daily squeel from Baby (her real name was Babette, but she refused to go by it). Baby ran down the hallways in her short denimskirt and tight blouse that was just the right leangth and showed of just the maximum allowed skin, just like Baby dressed everyday. She hid my head in her locker and rolled her eyes "You can never believe who I saw walk into the school!" she only half yelled, but she was standing so close that she was afraid her ears were going to ring all day.

"No, who?" Carol asked, ready to take Baby's hand and squeel with her.

"Joshua..." she paused for a dramatic effect "Hunter" Carol squeeled higher then she'd ever heard her squeel before.

"Who?" Georgia asked, finally finding the book she was looking for in her locker. It was amazing that she managed to organize everything but her locker.

"You don't know who Joshua Hunter is? 'Don't go and cry to my baby'?" Baby said, and then continued "'I said it meant nothing'?" she tried again, but Georgia shook her head.

"Oh wait! Didn't he sing that song... 'You know it's my girl'?" Baby and Carol shook their heads sadly. "'Let's do it right'?" Baby shook her head yes slowly.

"You know his least popular song, but not the rest?" Baby almost laughed saying.

"Well 'Let's do it right' was the only one that stuck with me" Georgia admitted "Is he that bald kid?" this caused Baby and Carol to burst out laughing. In that moment Felicia and her boyfriend Darren walked up to them.

"What's so funny now?" Felicia asked Georgia, but Georgia only shrugged her shoulders.

"She thought Joshua Hunter sand 'You know it's my girl', and then thought he was Blink Diamond" Felicia's mouth started to twitch into a smile, but being the kind person she was, she didn't.

"Joshua Hunter and Blink Diamond are totally diffrent, Blink Diamond rapps, Joshua Hunter... sings. And it is Sosh who sang 'You know it's my girl'"

"I don't listen that much to music" Georgia defended herself, the only music she listened to was the music she danced to, or the music her mother played when she was home.

"No... but we better hurry up, we don't want to be late" Felicia said, and glared a little at Baby and Carol who had stopped laughing now. "Have you done the sience homework?" she asked Georgia, who stoped walking straight away, a little pale in her face.

"We had a sience homework?" she looked at Felicia like she was a ghost.

"There is really a first for everything" Felicia laughed.

She walked to her french class which she had first, and took her seat in the third row. She watched as students started to fill in, some quietly, reading on small notes that probably had verbs or glossery on them, others loudly, talking about what they'd done that weekend. Victor (Vicman) walked in the room and greeted his friends by shoving one of them into the wall, causing everyone of them to laugh. Victor looked over the room and stoped at Georgia, looking at what she was wearing, and then said something to his friends, and started to walk over to her. He pulled a chair up infront of her, and sat on it backwards, igoring the protest from the owner of the chair. Georgia looked at him patiently.

"Z'up?" he said with a nodd, and she returned to looking through the verbs.

"Studying" she replied in a bored tone, trying to ignore him.

"So, you going to Debroah's party on friday?" she looked up at him, gave him a glare and then looked down.

"No, but maybe to Ron's... now would you please?" she didn't even look up at him as she said it.

"Cool, I'll be there" she thought of the fact that Carol wanted him to be there, so she didn't object, maybe he would be a good guy to Carol.

"Good for you" and seconds after that Mrs.Smith walked into the classroom, and it became quiet as soon as her eyes started to travel over the classroom, one sound without Mrs.Smith allowing you to make and detention was where you were going to spend your afternoon. Georgia had done that once and knew better then to make it twice.

In silence Mrs.Smith handed out the test, and then she stood by her desk and looked over the class.

"You have one hour" and then she sat down, but everyone knew that she soon would begin to walk around the classroom to see that no one was cheeting. Georgia started to fill out glossery's quickly, everything was printed in her memory, and then she moved to verbs, future and past tense, and then translated diffrent sentences. She was done after fourtyfive minutes. She put the paper upside down so no one could sneek a look at it, and sat back in her chair and waited patiently for the rest of the class to pass.

She had nearly falled asleep when the bell rang, and stood up and walked up to Mrs.Smith's desk and put her paper there, hoping that she would get an A. She then walked out into the hallway, hurrying away from Victor and his friends and towards her locker. She opened her locker quickly, she didn't want to meet any of her friends right now, she needed to wind down from the test and prepare herself for a new class, that was how she managed.

Everyone come to the aula, we have a surprise visitor. The pricipal's unusually cheery (or proud) voice filled the hallway, and everyone groaned and thought it was an other one of those boring speakers that was going to talk about alcohol and drugs, but reluctantly made their way to the aula.

This was going to disturb her routin big time, but with a sigh walked down the hallway towards the aula.

She saw her friends sit in the front seats (why she didn't know, but she thought they suspected it was that Joshua... Dear?) They had one seat next to them empty, so she sat down, but said nothing. They were all whispering to each other, and didn't seam to notice that she sat down next to them.

She stared at the ridicolus podium that they'd put up for the lecture, like they always did, like it would seem more serious, or the one that had the lecture would feel so exposed.

The aula filled until there were no seats left to sit in, and teachers stood by the walls, looking so that no pranks were going to be pulled. After five minutes the principal walked in, he had the most embaressing smile she had ever seen on his face. Some boys whinced loudly at him, others just completly ignored him, and there were a few that sat quietly and waited for him to start talking.

"Students" he said in a patient voice, no one listened "Students!" he yelled, and the murmur of voices disappeared in the aula. "We have a surprise visitor here today who is going to talk to you about school and life" it seemed like the whole aula groaned. "So let's welcome Joshua Hunter out on stage" there were a few people who said 'what', others yelled 'who?', but the most of them cheered loudly. Georgia clapped her hands, and waited for the man to appear on stage.

A latino guy appeared on stage, he looked to be around twenty years old, he had curly black hair that hung down in his face, he was tall and well built, quite handsome, but nothing to brag with.

"What up?" he said into the mike, and everyone cheered. Georgia thought it was unbelieveble that they were going to have someone to talk to them who couldn't even speak propper english. "Good" he smiled a charming smile, and Georgia found herself smiling too, but not as widly as her friends.

"So you've probably heard that I'll be talking to you about school and life" they all agreed "That's bull" everyone laughed and the principal looked like he was panicing "I'm going to talk to you about everything" there was a pause, and no one said anything "You see when I grew up I wasn't rich, I didn't wear a uniform to school, I didn't wear anything that costed more then 20 bucks" an other dramatic pause "I got my older brothers clothes when he grew out of them, so most of my clothes were too big" he laughed slightly "My brother is this really tall and fat guy" everyone laughed "Really frightning" he smiled that charming smile again "But... I saw no problem in that, because I looked up to my brother, I wanted to be everything that he was." an other pause "That was until he went to jail for armed robbery"

"The moment those handcuffs were put on my brothers wrists I stoped looking up at him. He wasn't the brother who helped me out when I was in trouble, he wasn't the brother that saved me from my fathers rage, he wasn't the brother that played with me when I was little even though he had friends waiting for him outside. He was the guy who taught me how to steal, how to smoke, how to fight. He was the person who taught me to be everything I didn't want to be"

"So why am I standing here today? Why am I here at this school? Why now? I have started this campain with a bunch of my friends an co-workers. We want to teach you that you have a future" This was bull, she thought, he was judging them, he was telling them that they had a perfect life. "You see this school? Do you see that swiming pool, these teachers? They are all here to make you learn, give you a future. My teachers hardly didn't give a crap if we didn't show up to school" the princepal looked red in his face when he heard the swear word that Josh Somthing said. "You have money to go to college, to go to law school, med school, what ever you want to become, you can, you just have to work a little harder on those tests" she rolled my eyes and crossed her hands across her chest. Joshua looked her way just as she did so, and met her challenging and bored eyes.

"I hated school, so I understand if you do too. But, it's going to determinate what you can become. When you're given your final grades in senior year you can change them, those are the grades you are going to apply to college for. I dropped out of high school, I wish I hadn't, but-" Georgia shut him off, hypocrit. She couldn't stand him. No matter how many hit songs he had done, he was still a hypocrit, talking to them about getting their high school diplomas when he only a few years ago dropped out of college himself. She heard breif parts of the speach, but after ten minutes she gave up, stood up in her seat and walked towards the door.

"Hey, you there in white?" she heard the princepal whispering 'Ms.Grey'. "Ms.Grey, where are you going?" she turned around and looked at him, smiled her famoust smile, and blushed the way she always did.

"I'll be back soon" she lied, and Joshua something shrugged and continued his speach. She hurried out of the aula and into the hallway where she let out a breathe and stoped smiling.

She swallowed hard as she walked down the hall towards the bathrooms where she was going to hide until the lecture was over.

She heard someone hitting the lockers with something, it had a steady rythm, and she got curious, and wanted to know what was happening. She walked around a corner and saw a boy sit on the ground, bouncing a ball against the lockers.

"Hey what are you doing out here? Aren't you supposed to be in the aula?" he looked up at her, looked her up and down with narrowed eyes before returning to bouncing the ball against the lockers.

"Shouldn't I be asking the same for you Ms.Perfect?" she flinched, and he noticed and smirked, she leaned against the lockers opposit him, not too close to the boucing walls.

"That hurt you know..." she said matter of factly, and slid down to sit on the ground too. "No one is perfect" she added quietly, hoping that he wouldn't hear. He did.

"Oh so you're saying that Ms. Georgia Grey isn't perfect?" he bit back "Have you looked at how you look? At your life?" he shook his head "Looks bloody perfect to me" she narrowed her eyes.

"Just because it looks perfect doesn't mean it is" she looked away, further down the corridor where cheers were heard. "I bet your life is more perfect then mine" he scoofed.

"Yeah, my father is a drunk, my mother is seconds from leaving us, my little sister is already drinking and having boys over at night, really perfect" he muttered something "I'm here on bloody scolarship" the ball bounced harder against the lockers, and probably left marks. If the she remembered the number right (which was no doubt she did) that locker belonged to Victor Parman. "I am what your kind call a farmer" she clenched her jaw.

"My kind? Who is judging now?" she breathed through her nose.

"Where is the smile Grey? Smile that Grey smile, add a little colour to your name, c'mon show me that smile" she stared at him blankly "Hmm... I guess you don't always smile" he smiled now, a crooky smile. He wasn't good looking, his hair stuck to his face, his nose was too big for his face, he was pale, his eyes were greyblue and when she would look a little closer she would see spots of brown in them, but there was somthing about that half smile, that non-perfect smile he smiled with a mouth that was too big that was appealing to her. "Why do you pretend to be happy Grey?"

"I don't know you, why should I tell you?" she said to him and crossed her arms.

"So you're all an act then? Evrything about you is fake" his eyes glimmered when he said fake.

"Aren't all of us?" he laughed a heartly smile that sounded a bit broken. She noticed that he was a little yellow under his eye. "What happened to your eye?" she stood up and walked to him, sat down next to him and forced him to look in her direction "It's a bruise"

"And you get an A Grey" he said coldly, and turned his head roughly.

"How did you get it?" she asked geniunly concerned about him.

"I don't know you why should I tell you?" he answered with her words, and she shook her head, and turned to look at the once again bouncing ball.

"Can I borrow that ball?" he frowned a little but gave her it. She squeezed it. It was bigger then her hand, a little heavy, it was red and green. She squeezed it one more time before she sent it flying into Victors locker as hard as she could. The impact echoed long after in the hallway.

"Angry at him?" he nodded towards the locker with a slight smile on his face, crooky smile.

"A little... who can't be angry at that idiot?" something glimmered in his eyes again, and she was facinated by it. "It's my familly I'm mad at" she confessed, shocked by how easily it was to admit it to him.

"Really, why?" she turned her head and looked at him. He looked like a boy she could trust. She couldn't decide how old he looked like, he could've been younger then her, he could've been older.

"It's like they play let's pretend all the time"
